Thread: The East End of the Chinese Trans-Africa Railway

1. I remain an Army of One shouting to the moon about the Chinese plan for world domination (sorry for the mixed metaphors here, but you get the idea).
2. A previous thread discussed Chinese plans for a Trans-Africa railway system as the western-most “belt” in their Belt-Road Initiative (BRI) on the Dark Continent.

3. That thread introduced the economic mechanism by which China seeks to control access to the raw materials needed to fuel Chinese industry in the 21st century and beyond. African nations are desperate for foreign investment, particularly in infrastructure.
4. And the Chinese are only too happy to provide – at a steep price! The Chinese are practicing “economic colonialism” which is subjugation through economic means. And the African nations seem too willing to return to yet another form of bad old colonialism!
5. Note that most public statements about the BRI and the New Silk Road do not generally include Africa except for Chinese management of key ports. Refer to this diagram for a graphical depiction of the Silk Road:
6. However, the clever Chinese are hard at work developing the railway infrastructure in central Africa needed to exploit the raw materials found there in abundance: the Chinese Trans-Africa railway.
7. Let us take a peek into the outer limits of the former Brit Colony now known as Kenya on the eastern side of Africa. This is a place where the One Belt One Road (OBOR), New Silk Road or BRI is already blossoming.
8. We’ll start with Lake Turkana, far beyond the present terminus of the Standard Gauge Railroad already running from the large port of Mombasa to the capital at Nairobi.
9. Lake Turkana is far off the beaten path, and it deserves a look-see for its remote beauty alone. Maybe it’s on your bucket list of places to visit?

Thread: Why Do They Do It, and What Needs to be Done

1. Many people wonder why those working in federal agencies are involved in the crimes that we’ve only begun to see exposed in the DoJ, FBI, IRS, State Department, etc.
2. After all, giving one’s life towards “service to the country” is supposed to be a noble endeavor – or at least that’s what the political elite, legacy media megaphones, and others have been telling us for decades, isn’t it?
3. Except that, in the Age of Trump, we’re finding out that many of these people – especially those in the upper echelons of federal law enforcement agencies – aren’t as altruistic as we have been led to believe. In fact, many of them are down-right crooks!
