#Thread_On_IranProtests 1) Yesterday peaceful demonstrations organically reached 27 provinces. This protests hit the stronghold of the Supreme Leader, most of the top #IRGC commanders as well as the "Hardliners" and has hit a raw nerve in #Tehran. #IranProtests
2) The most dangerous one in the eyes of Tehran took place in #Lorestan. Lorestan is very crucial for the regime's security. They hadn't realised that #KhorramAbad is unhappy with the situation. The first chant in Lorestan was death to(down with) dictator.
3)As I reported in the afternoon some police forces rejected to crackdown and shoot at the protesters so the #IRGC itself in many cities including in Lorestan were wearing police uniforms. They came brutally on the protesters in Lorestan and 6 lost their lives in and many wounded
4)They did the same thing in #Zanjan (Azari)as one lost his life and three were injured. Also in #Rasht, many were wounded by the security forces again wearing police uniforms. Alos in #Kermanshah, many were injured. In #Kerman the same reaction.
5) In result of this protesters fought back and in Kermanshah, one Basij died, four wounded, in Lorestan 8 wounded and in Zanjan 3. Reports and videos suggest that the protesters were peaceful until SF started shooting at them.
6)In result of this, governor offices, IRGC and Basij bases were targeted and burned.People don't want violence but peaceful transitional in Iran. They are asking for a #referendum. A democratic way of solving issues. This is the path they want to take and not violence.
7) Many officers and soldiers in the army and police forces are saying that they will not shoot at the people. This is a very terrifying point for Tehran. That is why the IRGC is deploying more troops to west, north-west, and north of the country.
8)State media which were silence for two days, yesterday afternoon came up with the usual plan pomping it from Tehran to Washington:
A.These demonstrations are backed by the #US and others to destabilize Iran. You can see this reflected in NIAC's statement in Washington DC.
8)B. The west wants to create another #Syria.
They have been pomping this into state media since yesterday afternoon. So if you see any indication of such perception then you know the source. Iran isn't going that way. They are calling the regime to leave Syria to prevent this.
8)C.The west wants to separate Azarbayejan, Kurdistan, Khuzestan, and Balouchestan from Iran.
But the truth is all the protesters are chanting "No Gaza, No Syria, My Life for Iran". It is Tehran who wants to divide Iranians by using its propaganda machine within and outside Iran
9)Ignoring and shooting at protesters will turn the country into a Syria and not a peaceful people. Even if the US wants to can't happen because they have no influence on Iranians neither sources to do so nor Saudis, Qatar, Turkey,
Iranians are not fools and see all of this.
10) The regime needs to put an end to its conspiracy theories which have been pomping into people's mind from 7am to midnight(bedtime). In worst scenario yes they will welcome west's support like Germans did to get rid of Nazism and Hitler. These are true facts can't be ignored.
11)There are two blocks just now in Iran, one wants a regime change through a peaceful process for democracy.Other wants to keep Iran as it as to get worse. In Tehran, hundreds of thousands in different locations were protesting but the one who supports the regime'll say anything.
12)What appeared today in Iran is a clear indication that Tehran-by shooting at people-wants the crowd to be violent and this way escalations can be used to delegitimize people's demands for democracy and their rights as citizens. However, I think people have understood their plan
14)Last night female IRGC forces were countering protesters under the name of ordinary women.Protesters understood and didn't want to respond to them in the way IRGC forces wanted.
13)Many argue that Iranians don't have a leader. What I have understood is that people are creating a civil movement(longer run) for a final goal and they will create leader/maybe not. However, as we saw in the past two days they are also ready to pay the price if necessary.
14)Another good news is that a group of solicitors(Iranian&none Iranian) in the west today formed a coordination desk to take legal action against those who support the IRGC within western departments and institutions. I better go to bed, haven't slept for 3 days #IranProtests

The moment when one of the missile exploded and a few minutes later crashed.
The IRGC has not published any statement.

Following Iranian media outlets, the @iaeaorg and international community should investigate @netanyahu's claim regarding Iran's secret atomic facility.
It is highly likely that the evidence provided by Netanyahu is reliable. 1/9
This was the video published by an Iranian website. It is interesting why these three men are asking people to not visit the location. In this video they repeatedly ask people to not try to visit the place because there is nothing. But they fail to show inside the building. 2/9
Iranian state TV reporter went to the location. The reporter refused to ask to go inside and show inside the building.
In the report, a man in a red T-shirt[was introduced as an ordinary citizen]makes fun of Netanyahu.Him and another person claim the place is an old depot.3/9
Who was behind #AhvazAttack?
Another contradictory statement from spokesperson for armed forces:"Attackers didn't have military uniforms on them."But reports&footages published by Iranian media contradict him .
Ahwazi Movement rejects responsibility&claims IRGC was behind it.
IS has published a video claiming its forces've conducted #AhvazAttack.ISIS claims the video was sent to them. Those speaking mention neither ISIS nor Ahvaz. Some claim an Ahwazi group might have cooperated with IS which can't be true cause none of Ahwazi groups focus is religion.
Surprisingly Iranian media publish a photo of the third attacker [who was 'killed' by the Iranian security forces]just hours after ISIS publishes its video. Prior to the video published by Iranians, only photos of two killed attackers had been published by Iranian media. #Think

Be very careful about what you read about #AhvazAttack.
There are many fake news, unconfirmed reports, fabricated photos and photos taken for propaganda use.
For example @bbcpersian journalist @BahmanKalbasi claims a group has taken responsibility when it is not true.1/8
.@guardian journalist @SaeedKD mislead public opinion by writing 'children' were killed by 'terrorists'. And when you read his piece you only see there was one child and not children. But what the headline of the article suggests is very different to its context.2/8
Director of Iran project at @CrisisGroup, @AliVaez jumps in to protect Iranian regime and asks US officials to condemn the attack. However, he has never asked US officials before to condemn Iranian regime for arresting, raping, torturing and executing political prisoners.3/8

The attack on military parade targeted officials and generals who were watching the parade. No civilian casualties and the attack only targeted the location of officials and armed forces. 11 of IRI forces and officials have been killed and 60 wounded. #Ahvaz #Ahwaz
IRGC's Tasnim published a report&claimed only armed forces were targeted. But the report has been removed.Iranian official media claim civilians were also targeted. However, according to footages&reports only a few families of officials were at the parade. bit.ly/2PVfzHG

Kurdish opposition parties asked Kurds in Iran to go on strike to protest the execution of 6Kurdish political prisoners by the Islamic regime.Kurds responded to their calls, shops are closed&no one has been to work. Security forces threatened people but it didn’t work.
All the Kurdish cities are on strike. To see the unity and how organised the Kurds are is unique. We haven’t seen this anywhere else in Iran. This should be taking Into consideration when it comes to confronting the Iranian regime. A united force is crucial. #TwitterKurds
Kurds in Iran are on strike in response to brutal and inhuman executions of Kurdish political prisoners. Shops are closed in all Kurdish cities and no one is working which demonstrate the Kurds can be more important and effective in confronting the Iranian regime. This is unique.
