The end is near, guys.

How is Donald Trump f*cked? Let us count the ways.

[THREAD]
1/ Let's start with the desperation move to replace HR with Buck Turgidson...er, John Bolton. Sure, Bolton is a lunatic hawk, but he's not even popular with the GOP. This Hail Mary pass will fall 15 yards from the end zone.
2/ #Emoluments, baby! The courts ruled this week that the case against Trump violating the Emoluments Clause can proceed. Have fun in court, dickweed!
3/ And that's not the only time he'll appear in court, because SUMMER IS COMING. The sexual harassment case against Trump is ALSO allowed to proceed, which means...discovery.

That's twice Trump will have to appear under oath and answer LOTS of uncomfortable questions.
4/ Trump fired his lawyer today and replaced him with the Alex Jones of attorneys. Because when life in prison hangs in the balance, you always hire the tinfoil hat guy who appears on Fox & Friends.
5/ The @StormyDaniels interview is going to air on Sunday. Many believe the revelation will concern abortion. It will not. There's more nefarious stuff that's going to come out of that interview. That's why Trump hasn't attacked her, and why he's so desperate to silence her.
6/ Stormy has a VERY good attorney. Like, this guy is the freaking A-Team. Trump's legal team is a bad episode of Night Court.
7/ Trump allegedly had sex with a 13-year-old. In case anyone forgot. There are also something like 17 complaints against him that we know of. A Playboy model just this week sued to lift the NDA.
8/ Our allies do not like Trump. And they have significant dirt on him -- audio, maybe even video. Dutch intelligence watched Russians hack stuff IN REAL TIME. Our allies are GOOD.
9/ Trump, meanwhile, takes the same sort of precautions w/ his hotel trysts that he does when banging porn stars. In other words: NONE. Before this is all over, we WILL know what went down in that room at the Moscow Ritz.
10/ Speaking of Moscow...you know, Putin can't be happy about this. Sure, he fucked up our election and got a few temporary benefits, but he will wind up isolated and unable to spend his rubles in any non-Soviet-bloc country.
11/ At some point, Putin might cut his losses and throw Trump under the KGB bus. Pee-pee tape, peut-etre?
12/ Trump's "adult" advisers are jumping ship in droves. He is now surrounded by sycophants, idiots, and sycophantic idiots. Left to his own devices, he will fuck up and spill the beans. Because THERE ARE SO MANY BEANS TO SPILL.
13/ And his mind is going, because he's old, he's not very smart, and he is suffering perhaps from dementia and/or late-stage syphilis. Or maybe just the anxiety of the job and knowing that SIX BILLION PEOPLE DETEST HIM MORE THAN ANYONE ALIVE.
14/ How many ways is that? Emoluments, Summer, Stormy, stat rape, Putin, Bolton, bad advisers...seven so far, I think.
15/ The Cambridge Analytica #CamAnal scandal has just gotten started. It will take down Trump, Bannon, the Mercers, Brad Parscale, Kushner, Erik Prince, Roger Stone, and many, many Republicans.
16/ The Paul Ryans and Mitch McConnells and Devin Nuneses of the world are complicit, because they took money from Moscow, via the NRA, via CA aid. That's why they won't act to remove, or curb, Trump. The truth will out.
17/ (On this topic, let it be said that #TeamPatriot leaders like @counterchekist and @ericgarland and yes, @LouiseMensch, have said for months that CA is dirty).
18/ See? I'm all the way down to tweet #18 and I haven't even mentioned Mueller. You know how we all want him to hurry? Well, now he's in a race against Trump firing him, and also against the 2018 elections.
19/ Targets of Mueller's investigation include: Kushner, Cohen, Junior, Ivanka, Pence, probably Sessions, and Trump himself. The ones who met with that waddle-chinned fuck, Sergei Kislyak.
20/ George Nader, who most of you have never heard of, was granted immunity yesterday. That means he can deliver BIGLY. It means his testimony will accelerate indictments.
21/ If Mueller's wish is to not disrupt the midterm elections with Russia-related news, he has to start dropping--or rather UNSEALING--indictments soon. I put the over/under on the Kushner/Junior/Cohen trifecta at the 4th of July. And I'm taking the under.
22/ Last but not least, the Dems are winning the House in November. All these indictments and tales of Republicans and their dirty rubles will NOT play well at the ballot box. Which means they WILL impeach. If it gets that far.
23/ And it won't make it to impeachment. Trump is too vain for that, and too lazy. If they vote to impeach, he will resign, blame Obama and the Deep State and Soros and @Rosie, and that will be the end of him.
24/ So keep sharing the real news, guys. Make sure your friends and family are informed. That's the best thing you can do at the moment.
I leave you with this:

Trump will never have another restful night. He will be in a state of panic, in court, or in prison for the rest of his miserable life.

Fuck him.

Let’s talk about the House of Kavanaugh—specifically, the hefty mortgage on said house.

[THREAD]
1/ In 2006, Brett & Ashley Kavanaugh bought a house for $1.22m. They put $245k down, a number that does not appear on his financial disclosures of 2005, which show net worth of $91k.
2/ The mortgage payments ($4600/mo.) alone were more than what Brett Kavanaugh took home in 2006 after taxes. His wife did not add enough to the mix to make up the difference.

In light of the epic (in every sense of the word) NYT story on Trump's tax fraud, let's have a quick review of all the legal troubles these traitors are now in:

[THREAD]
1/ PAUL MANAFORT, Trump’s campaign chair (May-Aug 2016): found guilty on eight counts, pleaded guilty on a bunch more as part of a plea deal in which he must cooperate with Mueller. Met w/Mueller this week, in fact.
2/ MIKE FLYNN, deputy chair of Trump Transition Team, natsec adviser: pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Awaiting sentencing. Will one day get out of prison. Will always be an ugly, ugly man.

Pleased to announce a slate of #DirtyRubles Trump/Russia events, on three of the next five Sundays:
The event in Madison, my hometown, is taking place at an undisclosed secret location [insert Dick Cheney joke here]. If you'd like to come, you need to RSVP:

The Woodstock event is at one of my favorite bookstores in all the world, The Golden Notebook @we_love_books.

Last time I was there, I bought FANTASYLAND by @KBAndersen, one of the best books I've read in recent memory.

Let's talk about the Putin/Alt-Right/GOP propaganda machine—the REAL Devil's Triangle—as it relates to Brett #Kavanaugh:

[THREAD]
1/ This cozy little messaging arrangement, which operates happily in the dark most of the time, is now being exposed because of the fatally flawed candidate Donald Trump has nominated to the Supreme Court.
2/ The problem with Kavanaugh is manifold: first, that he had six-figure credit card debts paid off by creditors whose identity we still don’t know; second, that he lied during his initial testimony...

Things might feel a bit bleak. Kavanaugh might be in, Rosenstein might be out, and both would be horrible outcomes for democracy.

So let’s put things into perspective.

[THREAD]
1/ The Kavanaugh fight is not over. Even if he gets CONFIRMED, the fight is not over. He stands credibly accused of sexual assault, and he owes lots and lots of money to…we don’t know who.

There’s also this business of HIS (maybe) stolen emails:
2/ Dr. Ford will likely appear before Congress…and the GOP may bring in outside counsel (note spelling) because THERE ARE NO WOMEN REPUBLICANS ON THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. This is HORRIBLE optics. It will cost them in November. Bigly.

Let’s talk about #Kavanaugh. This is why he should not be confirmed. And it has nothing to do with his political beliefs.

[THREAD]
1/ #Kavanaugh was not on the list of judges given to Trump by Judicial Watch, but he was tapped anyway. This was after Trump said he’d “study” (hahaha) judicial positions on various things—namely whether or not a POTUS can be indicted.
2/ When @ChuckGrassley says he didn't know about Christine Blasey Ford, he may well be telling the truth. The letter from those 65 women was likely produced ahead of time to defend #Kavanaugh against a DIFFERENT accuser(s) we don't yet know about.
