Democrats, I am going to try to warn you again about the Wolf PAC. If you’ve ever heard the expression “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” you know that this can be dangerous. The Wolf PAC = Young Turks (on youtube). #NoConCon
Young Turks are posing as progressive Democrats and there are many indications that they are not what they seem to be. Here’s an article that says they helped Trump get elected: huffingtonpost.com/entry/how-the-…
The Young Turks claim to be the Breitbart of the left, but honest:
Wolf PAC claims to be nonpartisan. This is confusing. But not really. motherjones.com/politics/2017/…
Wolf-PAC was founded by Cenk Uygur, an American-Turkish political activist. He is the star of their video that claims there is NO way there could be a "runaway" convention and that anyone who tells you differently is lying. Who's lying? IF YOU YELL IT DOES IT MAKE IT TRUE?
Best proof is here. In a report dated July 31, 2015, David F. Guldenschuh, an attorney said he was hosting a conference call with members of the Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force (BBATF), the Convention of States Project (CoS), Compact for America, and Wolf PAC. Wolf PAC!
What are they doing there in kahoots with three other right wing groups?!? Maybe they are right wing!?!
Here’s David F. Guldenschuh’s bio, but the most important part of it? “He was recently named to the Board of Policy Advisors of the Heartland Institute where he will concentrate on constitutional reforms.” The Heartland Institute has direct ties to the Koch Brothers.
Here's information on the Heartland Institute's ties to the Koch Brothers. And--get this--Guldenschuh seems to be keeping track of ALL the states’ resolutions regarding an Article V Constitutional Convention. Things that make you go hmmm.
More background: seems that Uygur used to be a conservative, supporting socially conservative views (see image) all the way up until the invasion of Iraq in 2003. That wasn't that long ago. Now he's not only claiming he's a Democrat, he's claiming he is very progressive.
From his wiki page:
Here's some more about his conservative views and how he made a complete about face in 2003. #NoConCon#NoConConForAnything
And remember that scandal from last December? The misogynistic blog posts (e.g. rules for dating ("orgasm by the fifth date,") one about women being "genetically inferior.") That was the Wolf-PAC founder! Cenk Uygur. #NoConCon#NoConConForAnything usnews.com/opinion/thomas…
Does this sound like a progressive to you? And then in March of 2017 he was caught saying that he wanted to "recruit and fund a slate of primary challengers under an anti-corporate, progressive banner" and get rid of #Democratic incumbents! What?
Democrats are in the fight of their life in 2018 and getting rid of an incumbent #Democrat unless there are extenuating circumstances is not a good idea! But #Republicans would love that!
So back to the "runaway" convention idea, The John Birch Society, a right wing organization is against a #ConCon & has produced many videos warning about its dangers. And this from the website they fund, refuting the argument that #ConCon can be limited:
Cenk Uygur guarantees that there is no way there will be a “runaway convention” and that he has proof. He has “proof” on his website, but there are no Constitutional lawyers quoted or Supreme Court Chief Justices. Here’s his proof: wolf-pac.com/resources
Check it out, go ahead!
Cenk Uygur also says in his video that anyone who tells you it cannot be a “runaway” convention (he calls a “fantasy” and “simply not true”) is either:
“deeply ignorant,”
“hasn’t read a word,”
Or...
"...perhaps is lying to you on purpose because their groups are funded by people who like the status quo.” 1. I am not deeply ignorant. 2. I have read more about this subject than most people. 3. I don’t lie. 4. I am not in a group and 5. I am not funded by anyone, anywhere.
Go ahead and check. I just see through this ruse.
Here’s his video explanation too (caution lots of yelling):
But here’s my proof, much more credible sources with more gravitas, don’t you think? Cenk Uygur vs. former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Warren Burger? He claims we are misquoting some of these sources. @tribelaw are you being misquoted?
There’s a copy of a letter from Warren Burger. 3 Supreme Court justices (Conservative, Moderate, and Liberal), Constitutional law professors from Harvard & Yale, book authors, experts in the field.

This article from the Columbia Journalism Review says that the Koch Brothers have been funding Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity (95%) archives.cjr.org/united_states_…
The Franklin Center, in turn, created a website of state-based reporting, called Watchdog.org—fed by “a network of journalists reporting on state and local governments.” Watchdog.org posted this article, saying that Wolf PAC was funded by George Soros.

Who owns Mother Jones?
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means we don’t report to any stockholders, owners, or corporate conglomerates.
Our biggest source of support is our readers (via subscriptions and donations), but we also have advertising and other revenue—which means that in addition to being editorially independent, we run a stable business.
George Soros uses Open Society Foundations for his philanthropy:
So no contributions to Wolf PAC from Open Society Foundations. Dark left money? Could be. But right-wingers always seem hell bent on blaming everything on George Soros as if he’s the liberal version of the Kochs. Mainly, he gives to well-deserving charities.
He gave $18 billion to Open Society Foundations in 2017, one of the largest transfers of wealth ever made by a private donor to a single foundation. Here’s some of the causes he supports: nytimes.com/2017/10/17/bus…
Here's some information where Wolf PAC gets their funding. Numbers from 2018. See that large portion of the pie? That's all unknown sources.
Here's some more information on Wolf PAC's finances in 2018:
All indications are that the Wolf PAC is probably funded, but definitely in kahoots with the right wing and trying to get bills passed all over the country in the name of progressive Democracy. All Democrats want Citizens United overturned. But not this way.
Oh and if you're a gay American, every had sex or resent the merging of church & state...Here's the thread where Scott Pruitt, head of the EPA admits what the right REALLY wants ConCon for!
Merge church & state, make abortion illegal and ban same sex marriage...among other things...Like get rid of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid!!! #NoConCon

🤥🐢"We simply followed the tradition in America, which is if you have a party of a different—a different Senate of a different party than the president, you don't fill a vacancy created in the presidential year. That went all the way back to 1888."
