{csvy} is a package for reading and writing metadata-enhanced CSV files that include a YAML header.

The format: csvy.org

The package: github.com/leeper/csvy (on CRAN but needs some updates to match the current csvy specification).

{colourlovers} is an API client for colourlovers.com

The package: cran.r-project.org/web/packages/c… (on CRAN but could use an XML -> xml2 conversion and a refresh to make sure it's still up to date).

{dataverse} is an API client for @dataverseorg

The package: cran.r-project.org/web/packages/d… (on CRAN and still works but the data archiving functionality has broken and I haven't had time to get it working again).

{federalregister}: an API client for the US Federal Register API.

The package: cran.r-project.org/web/packages/f… I believe it's still working, but haven't been maintaining it.

{RPublica}: an API client for @ProPublica APIs.

The package: cran.r-project.org/web/packages/R… I believe it's still working but I'm not actually sure.

{imguR} is an @imgur API client that can be used for downloading as well as uploading images on the platform.

It works and as far as I can tell needs no updates: cran.r-project.org/web/packages/i… but could use an automatic test suite.

{msgtools} is a package development tool that aims to help in adding message translations to R packages. Was developed as part of an @RConsortium project but hasn't been high on my development list.

{slopegraph} is a slopegraph package that I developed in response to an Edward Tufte online challenge. It has some lingering issues and has never made it to CRAN. I'd love to see someone passionate about #dataviz take it over.

{ggparliament} is an experimental package for creating parliament plots to demonstrate seat shares and changes in seat shares for legislatures. It's not on CRAN and could use some tender love and care.

{meme} (not the identically named, but later-created package on CRAN) is a joke package for creating memes. It's fun but needs some active maintainership to get it (under a different name) onto CRAN.

Finally, while I plan to retain maintainership, if you have any interest in #cloudcomputing in #rstats and feel like actively contributing to work on @cloudyRproject packages, I would love to have more volunteer labor there on any of our packages: cloudyr.github.io/packages/index….

So, in sum, if you're a user of any of those and feel like taking over as maintainer. Please let me know here or on the relevant github issue page. For the low low price of $0, you could walk home today with a lightly used R package and a lifetime of responsibility for it.
