Today I attended a training session about accompanying immigrants to ICE check-ins/asylum hearings through @NewSanctuaryNYC.

I'd like to share some learnings/inspiration from the evening about why accompaniment matters, and how we treat our immigrant friends-- The accompaniment training was held at a beautiful Manhattan Jewish temple, and was attended by people of all ages and faiths.

It started off with the Rabbi declaring #AbolishICE!
