I think we will look back at 2017 and see it as the year the #WordPress project started to fracture. As much as the community desperately wants to see WordPress as an enterprise CMS, projects like #Gutenberg show it is anything but. Gutenberg is a phenomenal piece of software and everyone involved in it should be proud of what they have achieved. But we also shouldn't be afraid to call it what it is. It's a move toward WordPress being a site builder.
