Whenever a friend discloses to me that they have been sexually assaulted (or someone they know has been sexually assaulted).... #whyididntreportit I used to tell them, “First, I’m not a lawyer and you should probably talk to one.” Now, I tell them, “Ok, I am not your lawyer but I can give you some names of lawyers I trust.”
