#SRO - One of the main actions led by nationalist #FSA, in its origins, was the Battle for #Atarib. Another #Syria rebellion historian and searcher, @Endemic22 already cover area and groups fighting there between February 2012 and July 2012 (1).
#SRO - This battle, led by Liwa Diri al-Thawra, and Liwa Shuhada al-Atarib, both are some of oldest N-#Syria #FSA brigades, both merged since this time in other groups, was the best exemple of a strong battle won only by #FSA without islamists or jihadis support (2).
#SRO - First Lieutenant Ahmad al-Faj, a local from #Atarib, was leading both groups in this battle that lasted from March 2012 (first clashes and skirmishes) to July 2012 : fall of the last regime stronghold (a police station turned into fortress) inside town (3).
