Not been myself since @SamuelOgundipe’s illegal detention - unable to articulate thoughts clearly enough without sentiments, unwilling to tweet much about anything else because the only thing on my mind is #FreeSamuelOgundipe - a sad hashtag we’ve trended for others in the past.
Some of us have never been under any illusion as to the capacity of this Buhari/Osinbajo regime for evil and the solution to it is simply to vote them out and hope that never again do we have to do #FreeSamuelOgundipe hashtag for anyone else in future.

This Govt is Tyranny.
My consolation here is that Samuel’s spirit is UNBREAKABLE.

I do not personally know any other journalist who is more ethically committed to his profession but also eager to write his name in The Golden Book where the names of the likes of Dele Giwa is etched in capital letters.

What stage has been won, the same day @SamuelOgundipe was arrested by SARS and is still in detention? No, we haven't won any stage. It's just PR and you're getting caught in it.#FreeSamuelOgundipe
I don't know if it's divide and conquer at this stage, what exactly is the difference between this announcement by the VP and the previous ones? Why are we lapping it up this time, nothing happened the last time the President (Via the Same VP) announced an "Overhaul"...
Nothing happened when the IG ordered the "reorganization" of SARS. When did the demand change from #EndSARS. Why are we accepting a sheet of paper as some sort of victory?

I’m shocked that @SamuelOgundipe would be arrested by SARS despite the commendations on a day like this. This is a self genocidal move by whosoever that called this shot. AG President @ProfOsinbajo Should look into this ASAP. #FreeSamuelOgundipeNOW premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines…
Who exactly is still running amok within the @PoliceNG system trying hard to roll back the hands of time at such an auspicious moment as this. This is an onslaught to Press freedom and an indictment on the recent pronouncement. Is publishing an info a violent Crime? Why SARS?! 🤔
We are trying to mend fences and you do this to a member of the Press? Are we conscious we are in a democracy? Are we willing to risk a revolution just to show loyalty to certain characters? He MUST be released tonight. #freeSamuelOgundipeNOW
