In Michigan, Detroit’s poor residents have faced massive water shutoffs, drawing criticism from human rights activists, Flint had contaminated water, and most recently, Detroit Public Schools shut off water due to high lead tests:

Wow. Look at the difference just in headshots from last year's pageant (color) to this year's (b/w).
Also notice the subtle shift from calling them "contestants," as they always have, to "candidates."

Some of those were actually from two years ago. But you get my drift.
But for the love of God, I have never understood why you can't peruse the field from going from one candidate to the next, state by state. What's up with that, @MissAmericaOrg?
