There was cheery news that regulators had seen the error of their ways regarding indiscriminate use of iron fist tactics.

This step forward was blunted by events such as leap backwards in Osun, a problematic strike action, and a return to bad old habits by a bus company.
On 25 September, @cenbank governor, Godwin Emefiele, said that he was optimistic the regulator would resolve the dispute in a way that will ensure that “everybody will be happy.”

We think this is a belated attempt at reassuring waning investor sentiment towards the country.
A day earlier, @SBGroup, one of four banks @cenbank alleged helped @MTNNG illegally repatriate $8.1 billion, said the regulator may review a decision to penalise its West African unit.

Thought to do a quick video for everyone who followed the process on #OsunDecides2018 and #OsunRerun and whatever other contraption INEC decides to come up with again after this.

It is important that our heads remain held high - we did not lose to APC only but a combined might.
“There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere and many of us will have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death again and again until we get to the mountaintop of our dreams.”

- Nelson Mandela.

#OsunDecided but INEC decided to do #OsunRerun and it is ANOTHER CHALLENGE!
(Couldn’t post this concluding part before now due to network issues.)

It’s a big “Thank You” from ALL OF US to ALL OF YOU - we did what we had to do, you did what you did not have to do, but you did it all the same.

It is Power to the People - and you are ‘The People’.

We’re monitoring reports from all PUs and it’s looking like PDP voters are being intimidated everywhere except Osogbo which even has a few skirmishes.

Voters in Ife North on Alapata Road are not being allowed to go through by thugs - @PoliceNG kindly act.

#OsunDecides2018
APC thugs are preventing voters from accessing the PU in Janto Village of Orolu LGA - nobody knows what’s going on at that particular PU because even observers are being turned back.

Why is @PoliceNG presence restricted to very few places in Osun?

#OsunDecides2018
Hon. Jaguu, @iyiomisore’s enforcer ally in Ife and his thugs are beating voters up in Ward 7, Unit 12 in Ife South - Adenreti Village.

@PoliceNG, is he untouchable, too powerful for you or he’s acting in cahoots with your mission?

When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 16 Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, & anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet.

Right from Campus days, we have always been discouraging serious Christians folks to dissociate themselves from politics. At the end of the day, we turn around to complain about "people in authority"....What exactly do you expect when you discourage yours?

Hon. Prince Albert Adeogun is the running mate of Senator Ademola Adeleke and he is a sitting, serving and active member of the House of Reps in Abuja, representing Ife Federal Constituency comprising Ife North/South/East/Central LGAs.

He will deliver massively tomorrow.
B.Sc and M.Sc in Political Science before going to study Law and becoming a Lawyer then joining the Customs Service, retiring as a Comptroller.

Albert Adeogun is an Ife Prince, born into two Royal Families in Ile-Ife.

He will deliver votes.
The permutations that determine an election have all lined up fortuitously in favour of the PDP and tomorrow will prove this.

Ife is one of three battleground LGAs and with Hon. Prince Albert Adeogun - Ife will produce the next Deputy Governor of Osun State, insha Allah.

Osun was a Miracle.

APC planned to rig shamelessly and succeeded in so many places scientifically and mathematically: cutting PDP victory in some places, inflating their own figures in other places - a hundred there, two hundred here, cutting it really close to look legit.
Let me do a quick thread on the three things that saved PDP in Osun apart from our collective efforts:

The Adeleke-Underdog Strategy,
Senator Iyiola Omisore and
Focus on Osogbo not Ede where the election was actually decided.

It was a victory for high strategy and experience.
Recall that Ekiti was lost because the APC came at Fayose with everything they could muster - it was like the entire hordes of APC he’ll against one man.

In Osun, Adeleke was positioned as the underdog who was not a threat and APC focused on Omisore instead and invaded Ife.

Let me walk you guys through some innovations @inecnigeria has put in place to ensure #OSUNDECIDES2018 votes count. I will do a much more robust thread later. By 2pm anyone not on the queue will not vote.If there is no one left to vote the SCRs will automatically shutdown.
If there are still ppl on queues to vote, the SCR shuts down by 3pm. Now, as soon as accreditation is done the @inecnigeria national server receives that information. This information is displayed in the INEC situation room where the chairman and other commissioners and directors
Are seated watching it live. In that room are over 40 persons. If by the end of the day, the total number of accredited persons becomes less than number of persons who voted( over voting) , expect an immediate cancellation. It is therefore not possible for anyone to add up votes

Tinubu deliberately didn’t breed intellectuals or upwardly mobile elite youths in Lagos but built his power base on illiterate market women, traders, bus drivers and someone like K1.

To be fair: It’s his prerogative but it’s also our prerogative to be disgusted by it and him.
Initially, Tinubu has the likes of Femi Pedro from the corporate sector, Moses Opeyemi Bamidele, Segun Maiyegun and a host of young students unionists around him but they asked too many questions and had aspirations.

He chucked them all off and rebuilt with MC Oluomo types.
Those ones won’t question him or have aspirations.

K1 wanted to be a Senator before 2015 and Tinubu asked rhetorically “se igbe ni won nke mbe ni?” - is it noise (music) they make there?

Those are the people he surrounds himself with and subservient half-intellectuals.
