I had another life-threatening heart/lung episode today.
I'm not sure how much of it had to do with my cutting my heart meds back to once a day while appealing the increased price by my health insurance from $120 for 60 pills to $1k for 60 pills.
We had to call 9/11.

I couldn't afford to go to the hospital--when you call 9/11 the city charges you $1,200 for the trip to nearest hospital.
They only accept cash.

So all day, instead of doing work that needs to be done, I have been trying to get my heart rate under 140, which given my lung meds increase my heart rate, has been more work: breathing exercises my PT taught me, single nostril breathing @HillaryClinton taught me (try it).

I have no idea who has this kind of money but it's more than I make.
The sicker you are, the more expensive your plan.And there's no option because the #GOP allowed health insurance companies (who just got a huge tax cut) to charge whatever they want for coverage.

So The Wife, who is the same age as I am and who has the exact same plan, pays $239.00 a month for hers.

Rice variety like brown rice could be consumed by #Diabetic patients as well. This is customary in many parts of southern India.

Traditionally Indians consume aged rice; which has low GI as compared to the new one. If you consuming new rice grain; just roast it a bit before cooking. It makes it easy to digest says #Ayurveda. The process also helps reducing the GI.
