Putin's American lobbying efforts have had lots of help from Republicans, including one Soviet-emigre professor who wrote a book on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a former Pennsylvania GOP Representative.

Donald Trump's connections to people in the #TrumpRussia affair include a pair of Russian oligarchs who funneled him cash and a Ukrainian politician who pushed a back-channel "peace plan" written by a corrupt former Republican congressman.

One of Putin's top propagandists met with Republican think tank leader Dmitry Simes and Oleg Deripaska, who is best known as the Russian oligarch closest to former #TrumpRussia campaign manager Paul Manafort.

The results of their efforts continue today.

The #TrumpRussia campaign has strong links to a pro-Kremlin think tank in DC & Russia's Valdai Club think tank, which Putin frequents.

Convicted Trump foreign policy advisor Geroge Papadopoulos attended a strange Valdai Club meeting looking for Hillary's emails.

This is how interconnected the #TrumpRussia campaign was to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and even Edward Snowden's lawyer.

Even Senator Rand Paul's advisors were pro-Putin shills.

Putin's favorite Congressman Dana Rohrabacher was also deeply involved in this.

But #TrumpRussia didn't just happen overnight.

Dr. Edward Lozansky is a Republican insider due to his long relationship with the co-founder of Heritage Foundation, Senator Bob Dole, and deceased Rep. Jack Kemp.

He even helped found a Young #Republicans chapter in Moscow.

In fact, this #Republican insider says his relationship with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak dates back to the Soviet-era five decades ago.

At least, that's what he told Lobbying.ru before it folded.

Donald Trump Jr. met Russian deputy central banker Alexander Torshin at the NRA's 2016 national meeting.

Then one of Torshin's associates pressed the #TrumpRussia campaign for a meeting with Putin.

Dr. Lozansky's 2009 meeting with Alexander Torshin is the key moment in his American lobbying efforts.

Spanish authorities recorded Russian gangsters calling Alexander Torshin their godfather.

But former NRA and American Conservative Union President David Keene called him friends, giving he and Dr. Lozansky column space in the Washington Times.

They held numerous events during the #TrumpRussia election attack.

Dr. Lozansky (surprisingly) joined the group's Board this month.

Lastly, @patrickLSimpson discovered a key link in the secret #TrumpRussia back-channel Ukraine peace plan that Trump's personal lawyer brought to convicted former National Security Advisor Gen. Flynn.

These #Republicans wrote the "Rovt-Weldon" plan.
