The United States of America was Judically RAPED again today by @senatemajldr @SenateGOP @GOP. @ChuckGrassley @JeffFlake @LindseyGrahamSC. OUR voices were silenced, and we were held down while they SHOVED Kavanaugh onto our high court against our will and WITHOUT CONSENT.
Republicans put their collective hands over our mouths because they didn't want to hear our screams while they did it. Brett Kavanaugh is clearly the "best man for the job" of preserving white conservative male privilege to RAPE at will with utter impunity - the #Patriarchy
His primary job is to protect Donald Trump and his friends from all of our US laws. Secondarily his job is to ensure women and all Americans become and remain enslaved to a wealthy ruling class - the billionaires - and are denied even basic human rights.
People ask what #patriarchy is. Think “Jim Crow” and apply it to women—all women. It’s a web of systems, structures, practices and believes that enforce gender hierarchy and silence women. 1/

These “Women for Trump”:

For decades, I’ve been asked by white people:
- What is wrong with Muslim women?
- Why do they put up with all that patriarchy and misogyny?
And here I am asking the same about these “Women for Trump” who are the 53% of white American women voters who voted for him.

That Brett Kavanaugh is a federal judge is a reminder of feminist psychiatrist Judith Herman’s words: “The legal system is designed to protect men from the superior power of the state but not to protect women or children from the superior power of men.”
Trump, Kavanaugh, Graham: white patriarchy + wealth + entitlement. These are men who were raised to believe everything revolved around and for them and that they would never be held accountable. Ever. And when they are, they act like 👇🏽#Patriarchy. 
White supremacy + patriarchy + wealth + entitlement = the highest office in the land to the judges who mete out “justice” to the laws that elected officials pass. Every level of power in the United States of America
The president of the USA has been accused by at least 20 women of sexual assault.
A candidate for congress had been accused by at least 6 women of sexually molesting them when they were teenagers.
And now a man accused of attempted rape is up for a seat in the Supreme Court.

And remember that one judge on the Supreme Court was confirmed despite being accused of sexual harassment.
When sexual harassment and assault are at the highest levels, it gives a green light that women’s bodies are fair game.

What is #maleprivilege? It is freedom, resources, rights, and respect granted instantly to any male person upon (or even before) birth, simply for being male. Having an advantage over another group of humans doesn’t just stop at laws.
When men don’t feel constantly threatened with violence and harassment for just existing. When medical conditions affecting males are given more funding and are more rigorously researched. When men get more pay and are promoted faster due to being seen as more competent in jobs.
