Das Thema frisst mich gerade besonders an, weil meine #Schutzzeit in gut 1,5 Jahren endet. Oder vielleicht schon im März 2019 nach der Masterarbeit, an der ich eigentlich gerade arbeiten sollte. Das Studium gilt als "berufliche Reha".
Wie in der Doku gezeigt, gibt es einiges, was getan wird. Das hilft mir gerade aber sehr wenig. Warum? Weil ich nicht vertrauen kann, dass mir der zugesagte Schutz auch weiterhin gewährt wird. Es existieren keine schriftlichen Zusagen, kein festgelegtes Enddatum.

In my 8yrs on the Council, I have convened 7 hearings on #trauma, each with a different focus. Although more work remains, I am encouraged to hear that many of the recs offered up by impacted persons & communities at our hrgs & listening sessions were integrated into new system
(1/11) When I say..."The people closest to the pain, should be the closest to the power, driving & informing the policymaking..." THIS is what I mean. (A) When I wanted to break cycles of #poverty by strengthening pathways to #graduation, preventing #dropout #MA7
(2/11) for expectant & #parenting #teens, (still the #1 reason girls drop out, even with unplanned pregnancies on the decline) I invited them to the table to share their stories, struggles & to inform the #BPS policy we developed to better support them.
