How gender identity politics is endangering #WomensRights masquerading under the guise of “progressivism”- or in other words, as I said to this @notokyriarchy fatherfucker, an #MRA’s dream come true
- (thread)
I shouldn’t have to explain the realities of sex-based oppression in 2018! #Female is a biological sex. #Gender is the roles and norms that are imposed on those with female bodies to subjugate them to males for free sexual, domestic, and reproductive labor.
No matter how many genders a given culture had or recognized, somehow, the half of the group with a cock and balls (males) knew which other half of the group to forcibly impregnate (“#NonMen”, according to some). 🤔🤔🤔
If y’all did some research outside of #MOGAI Tumblr, you would know that the #nonbinary genders other cultures had/have, which y’all envy them so much for, are/were actually terrible and oppressive in many cases. I have an excellent post I’ll link to below if I can find (*)
At least over here, woman = adult human female. But now, thanks to trans activism, that is warping. And it’s for the worst. In some circles, this definition has already been replaced by “an individual who has a vague, intangible feeling of womanhood”.
This neodefinition silences us from defining ourselves or speaking of our common experiences pertaining to the BIOLOGICAL REALITY of femaleness. Already, this is having detrimental and (un)predictable effects. I read an article (**) where it was ruled that a company...
...discriminating against a breastfeeding female employee wasn’t “sex discrimination” because “men can lactate under some circumstances”. See how terrible this is? Thank god USA hasn’t replaced sex with gender (yet!). Praying for my sisters in the UK, tho🙏🏾
And the issue of trans athletes, that’s a whole nother trip right there. I’ve heard news after news of TIMs taking medals 🏅 from the female athletes. A male individual retains their physical advantage, regardless of how they “identify”. Hormones and surgery won’t take that away.
So now, what will become of women’s sports? Will we be pushed out of our own leagues, or am I just being “hysterical”? (***)
Then there is the “dOn’t MEnZiOn BiOLoGy iT’s CiSSeXiST” shit I see TRAs and their allies peddling. Fuck, I’ve already seen this rhetoric around the #RepealThe8th convention in Ireland. TIMs are more concerned with feeling “included” in shit that ain’t their fight than...
...they are with giving women rights. @Terfy_Memes remember that fuckshit you showed me? 🙄 (****) A trans lady feeling some type of way over not being able to “relate” to females being raped and forced to bear children repeatedly? #TheHandmaidsTale
And that big crying over #PussyHats at the #WomensMarch (which is trash for other reasons btw) being “racist” and “exclusionary”? Lmfao, I’m still tryna find out how tf they are racist. The color pink was not to symbolize an actual vagina. And I could just knit a brown one lol.
And those dumb hats don’t even resemble actual vaginas not one bit. They are cat ears. They were a response to @realDonaldTrump’s “#GrabEmByThePussy” disgusting ass remarks. Tmw you’re salty bc the group of ppl a predator wants to assault doesn’t include you🤷🏾‍♀️
The notion that 99% of the people at this march need to shut up about their problems so that <1% can feel “included” is ridiculous and egoistical in a way only males can be. Yes, being left out hurts. But you know what else does?...
..Period pains, contractions, #abortions, #pregnancy, forced birth, #FGM, swollen breasts, #endometriosis, mammograms, sexual objectification, and phallocentrism, to name a few 🤷🏾‍♀️. If a #FEMINIST event isn’t the place to center female bodies, then do tell me WHERE we can.
So as you can see, #femaleempowerment or #femaleerasure ? Pregnant women become pregnant people, so #abortion and #birthcontrol are #humanrights issues rather than exclusively #WOMENSRIGHTS struggles. Then we cannot complain about governments dominated by men deciding.
If we can’t center female bodies in feminism because “not all women have vaginas and not all vaginas belong to women”, then by that logic, #BlackLivesMatter needs to stop making #policebrutality a black issue.
... Even though the odds of a nonblack person getting fucked over by the police are way higher than the odds of a man getting pregnant 🤷🏾‍♀️. After all, Native Americans have even higher rates than us!
Then, androcentrism in medicine, #STEMM and #healthcare. This is an issue that needs to be brought to attention! Male bodies are used in experiments and trials, which means the needs of women aren’t addressed. Female bodies aren’t the same. Medicine can react way differently. (&)
It’s a concern that this pressure to be neutral on sex will result in even LESS research invested in females. Oh no, don’t wanna be #cissexist! And in jobs... if a company wants to give itself cookies for “#diversity” rep, they can just hire transwomen instead of women...
... You get the female “identity”, and they don’t have to take maternity leave or breastfeed like those pesky females! If gender identity replaces sex, it wouldn’t take long for the dudebros in Silicon Valley to figure this out.
So, in conclusion, gender identity ideology erases females from our own movement, denies sex-based oppression, reopens the door for discrimination against women, and changes “women” from a clear disadvantaged class of individuals to a malleable club to opt in and out of.

LMAO @ libfems and “progressives” praising Iceland for its gender equality while steadfastly defending the sex trade...

Could it be a coincidence that countries with the highest rates of gender equality see prostitution as a tool of patriarchy & violence against women? 🤔

🤷🏾‍♀️🤗 Iceland, you’re doing great sweetie.

Hmm, not one mention of abolitionism in this article. They probably didn’t want to set off the pro prostitution lobbyists 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ok, here’s a test for all the purported “#sexpositive” “feminists”. Y’all despise “moralistic” views of sexuality, huh? You think sex should be commodified and prostitution should be a job like therapy or tutoring?
Why are we clutching our pearls over “#SexualHarassment”? Why even have this #MeToo shit? What makes sexual harassment any different or worse than all other forms of harassment? What makes grabbing pussies any worse than grabbing someone’s arm? And at that...
What’s wrong with some dude asking his intern to blow him? There’s nothing wrong with asking to make coffee or deliver papers. Isn’t it “just work”? #BlowJobsAreRealJobs, eh? And at that, if prostitution is fully decriminalized, some creep going around asking women to suck his

It’s so funny and ironic how #liberals call #RadicalFeminism#WhiteFeminism”, yet, I’ve come across so much actual #racism directed at me and other #GenderCritical black women from self-righteous #trans activists/allies and libfems. 🙄
I’ve gotten more racism from that crowd in the past two weeks than I’ve gotten from any #RadicalFeminists in two months. Or any amount of time. Liberals routinely erase the radical #WomenOfColor from history who either called themselves #radfems or influenced radical feminism so
that they can call radical feminism “white”, misappropriate #Intersectionality from #BlackFeminism to try and justify including males in #feminism, argue that “transwomen are women the same way Black women are women”, (racist and dehumanizing comparison of black women to males),

Dedicated to @Terfy_Memes
Plus, a thread on how transwomen retain (at least some) male privilege 👇🏾
What is #maleprivilege? It is freedom, resources, rights, and respect granted instantly to any male person upon (or even before) birth, simply for being male. Having an advantage over another group of humans doesn’t just stop at laws.
When men don’t feel constantly threatened with violence and harassment for just existing. When medical conditions affecting males are given more funding and are more rigorously researched. When men get more pay and are promoted faster due to being seen as more competent in jobs.

Ok, imma explain this one time for all the TRAs in the back:
Comparing black women to males is racist even in the name of “progressivism”, stop using us as props in your braindead arguments already.
Black women have been likened and compared to males for CENTURIES as a way to dehumanize us, to portray us as hyper masculine and unfeeling beasts of burden. This lil “simile” comes all the way from the plantation.
Womanhood, especially BLACK womanhood, is not an identity or feeling. It is a biological reality that was the basis on which my foremothers were raped and forced to bear children like factory farm cattle.
