We started a new year (I hope the last) of the Syrian civil war. But 2017 has been the most important year & the result of inflection point of the war in 2016 with many political & military developments : (1)

The first military operation of #SAA was Wadi Bara (23/12/2016 - 29/1/2017) which finished with the evacuation of rebels from Wadi Barada & the North montainous area in the border with Lebanon. At the same time other forces advanced in E.Ghouta reaching some parts of Hazrama (2)

#SDF started the second phase of #WrathOfEuphrates operation on December securing the West flank of #Raqqa plains (3)

The fall of #Palmyra on December was a hard blow for #SAA . #ISIS took advantage of the situation launching severals attacks to #DeirEzzor pocket & divided it in two (4)

At the same time, #ISF was managing to take the eastern part of #Mosul & their sourrounding countryside (5)

After the liberation of #Aleppo #SAA #Tiger_Forces started new operation with the objectives:
-Expell #ISIS from #DayrHafir & #Jirah Airbase
-Avoid #EuphratesShield forces to advanced South of Al-Bab city (captured on 23/3/2017)
- Reach Water Station to finish water crisis

#Tiger_Forces achieved most of the objectives reaching outskirts of Jirah airbase, even Souq al-Jibs district West #Aleppo was liberated , but rebel offensive N. #Hama did the operation to be postponed (6)

With #Tiger_Forces on #Hama the offensive started on 21/3/2017 stopped & a counteroffensive of 4 weeks (until 28/4/2017) not only reversed rebels gains but liberated some villages lost in 2016. #KhanSheikhun seems to be objective, but plans have already written...(7)

Many #SAA forces in Hama Offensive had been carried out the operation to recaptured #Palmyra (Simultaneous with #DayrHafir offensive) from 13/1/2017 - 3/3/2017 (8)

On the other hand, #SDF started the third phase (4/2/2017-9/5/2017) of #WrathOfEuphrates crossing the river from West in order to captured #Taqba city (22/3/2017-10/5/2017) & open new front to secure the East flank of #Raqqa plains (9)

On March #ISIS started collapsing in many fronts, even rebels from #Tanf Area expelled them from the #Jordan border & most of the Syrian #Badiyah reaching #DeirEzzor province during a short period of time (10)

After the battle of Wadi Barada, #Baqin , #Zabadani & #Madhaya were completely surrounded & on 20/4/2017 return to government control, the same happened with Wa'er neighbourhood (21/5/2017). By then, #SAA have already returned operations in #Damascus ... (11)

The battle of #Qaboun - #Barzeh (18/2/2017 - 29/5/2017) took many months due to the density of buildings, but finally, rebels surrender & part of them were evacuated, now E.#Ghouta was more isolated. Next objective: #Jobar (12)

Between February-April 2017 #ISF / #PMU have already started the final assault of W. #Mosul surrounding the city by several axis while other troops liberated #Hadar area S.W. of the city as a preludy of the border operation (13)

In Syria, in most of the West fronts the clashes had stopped. The #LavenderOperation , which the objective to liberated the East of the country, have just started. Four main axes were opened: #Aleppo , #Palmyra, #Badya & S. #Homs (14)

#Tiger_Forces restarted East #Aleppo front liberating #Maskanah (9/5/2017 - 8/6/2017) & entered #Raqqa Governorate for the first time in years. The next operation was the liberation of the #Resafa crossroad (9/6/2017 - 19/6/2017) avoiding #SDF heading to #Raqqa Oilfields (15)

On 24/5/2017 a big collapsed S. #Homs happened : To Avoid the same problem that cost the lost of #Palmyra #SAA secured a big area of #Badya desert protecting South flank while other forces were expelling rebels from the same area (16)

After the liberation of #Taqba , #SDF started the 4th phase of #WrathOfEuphrates (5/5/2017 - 5/6/2017) sourrounding the #ISIS capital #Raqqa . The battle to liberate the city started on 6/6/2017 (17)

At the same time #PMU had reached #Syria border for the first time in years after a less than two-long month operations liberating important #Baaj stronghold (18)

Finally, the big victory come to #Irak ; #Mosul city had been completely liberated (10/7/2017), now Iraqi army has their eyes on #TalAfar & #Hawija (19)

With #Aleppo completely liberated from #ISIS , #Tiger_Forces start advancing from #Raqqa countryside (13/7/2017) liberating many Oil fields & villages of #Euphrates (20)

At he same time , #SAA was advancing towards the #ISIS stronghold of #Sukhnah (wich was completely liberated on 12/8/2017) , now #ISIS don't have more cities in #Homs province, now eyes was put on T2 station & #EastHama (21)

On the other hand, #SAA expelled Rebels from most of #Suwayda , #Damascus Countryside & the #Jordan border (June-August 2017) virtually creating a huge pocket in #Bayda (22)

East #Hama always had been a problem for #SAA : Montanious area with lots of villages & fighters. So, Army made a operation to divided this big salient in two pockets, the second one was clean at the end of August 2017 while the first one took more time (until 17/10/2017) (23)

#ISIS was losing ground in #Lebanon too: Between July-September 2017 a joint operation by #Hezbollah , #LAF & #SAA sucessfully expelled #HTS & #ISIS from #Arsaal mountains securing the entire #Syrian-#Lebanon border (24)

After a one month of preparations, #ISF / #PMU launched the expected operation to liberated #TalAfar pocket (20/8/2017 - 2/9/2017) , #Hawija it's next... (25)

With most of #Homs CS liberated , the gates of #DeirEzzor were open. #Tiger_Forces & ther units advanced from two axis towards the city. Finally, on 5/9/2017 the siege of #DeirEzzor ended (26)

#SAA #Tiger_Forces continue to liberated #DeirEzzor countryside & by the end of September (28/9/2017) the entire #Raqqa countryside was liberated. Looks like #Idlib was the next objective for #Tiger_Forces but a deadly offensive of #ISIS change the plans. #Mayadin ... (27)

At he beginning of September #SDF started #CirizeStorm operation to expell #ISIS from East #DeirEzzor countryside. By mid-October troops have reached Oil fields, Khabour river & outskirts of #DeirEzzor city (28)

#ISF / #PMU started operation to liberated #Hawija pocket on 21/9/2017, 3 weeks later (8/10/2017), the area was completely liberated. Now, the border area will be the last battle for #ISIS in #Irak (29)

However, due to the Kurdistan Referendum on 25/9/2017, #ISF launched an operation in order to restore 2003 borders, many villages from #Kirkuk (including the capital city), #Nineveh , #Erbil , #Saladdin & #Diyalah provinces with the Oil fields & border areas were recaptured (30)

#Tiger_Forces started on 4/10/2017 the operation to capture the new #ISIS capital #Mayadin , 10 days later, city was liberated by troops wich focus on clean the remain countryside of #Mayadin . Was already the time for #DeirEzzor city ... (31)

Days later, #SDF defeated #ISIS in #Raqqa city, it's old capital , put the end of #ISIS in #Raqqa province (32)

The offensive of #Jobar , wich started on 20/6/2017 dindn't reach the objective to isolated the district. #SAA , unable to achieve more advances, put their eyes to #BeitJinn pocket (33)

On October, West fronts restart it's activities, Rebels launched new offensive in #Idlib recapturing some villages, including Abu Dali. one week later, #ISIS from East #Hama pocket captured many villages (most of them recaptured by rebels) (34)

#SAA took advanntage of the situation & opened 3 fronts (#Idlib , N.E. #Hama , S.E. #Aleppo ) as a preludy of the upcomming offensive to #AbuDuhur (ongoing) (35)

The battle to liberate #DeirEzzor took place between 14/9/2017 & 3/11/2017 #Tiger_Forces acelerated the liberation the last two weeks. Now their eyes were on #Bukamal (36)

At he same time, #ISF launched the battle to liberated #Qaim (26/10/2017 - 3/11/2017) securing a huge border Area, #Rawa city was liberated on 17/11/2017 . Now #ISIS was hiding in a big desert area Between #Nineveh , #Anbar & #Saladin provinces (37)

Back then, #SDF had already expelled #ISIS from #Markadah stronghold & khabour river & troops continued advancing from the #Euphrates towards the border & taking control of the Oil Fields (38)

With the Border secured by #ISF / #PMU , #SAA start advancing from T2 station towards #Bukamal . Crossing the border troops launch an assault to the city (8/11/2017). The battle was delayed some weeks more (until 19/11/2017) due to an #ISIS counterattack (39)

The last month of 2017 had many important develpoments too:
-#SDF reached the border & secured many villages from East coast of #Euphrates . clashes continue in Shaitat area. Advance ongoing.
-#SAA secured entire West coast of #Euphrates & started operation to clean desert

- #ISF / #PMU launched the last operation to clean desert Area (23/11/2017 - 9/12/2017). #ISIS caliphate has been erradicated in #Irak (41)

- After 3 months of battle, rebels of #BeitJinn surrendered. Evacuation & reconciliation is ongoing
-#Tiger_Forces started the operation to #Abuduhur airbase, not only recapturing Abu Dali, but liberate more areas (42)

In 2017 #SAA have liberated 74227,86 Km^2 & now Syrian government controls more than 50% of #Syria .
#SAA has become the main party of the Syrian war, defeating #ISIS & rebels in many fronts.

#SDF have won 15212 km^2 & controls a quarter of #Syria . Syrian Democratic forces have become an important party in the country
#ISIS have lost 89862,86 km^2 reduced to a little force as another rebel group, only with a constant expansion in #Idlib - #Hama & Yarmuk valley (43)

Rebels lost 17690,05 Km^2 in many fronts, only expand it's control in east #Qalamoun, #Aleppo (#EuphratesShield) & #Harasta (battle ongoing), but keeping an important presence in #Ghouta , #Tanf , #Damascus , South & North West #Syria
