I find it incredible that there's sick and disabled people being driven to suicide by Govt (ideological) policies and their refusal to care about their effects which are rising #homelessness , #mentalillness #NHScrisis #lowwageeconomy rising numbers of children in #poverty
and yet while all these things and many more affect many thousands of people across the UK the news media of this country fail to inform and hold the policy makers to account, instead turning politics into some sort of irrelevant soap opera rather than the thing that affects
every single facet of everyone's lives. TBH most of those identifying themselves as journalists are literally that in name only as they do nothing more than cheer-lead for the worst Govt in my lifetime (and I lived thru Thatchers tenure)

Doctors and nurses go against the masters and take a sneaky shot of a corridor. Comms team go nuts because you can see a quarter of someone’s face and you can’t tell if it’s a patient or Julie from corporate.
Meanwhile the ambulance service are snowed under whilst finding time to tweet a story in just enough detail as to make sure that if a 94 year old was on twitter, they’d know it was them they’re talking about.
As I approach the end of another night in A&E, I’m telling ambulance crews that have been here for 2 hours already that I am unable to safely take a handover from them, and that I don’t know when the next space will be available...
... I have patients who have been sat in the corridor for 8 hours waiting to get into an A&E cubicle to be properly assessed... I am operating in a department with only 1 open space to accept a new patient - Resus, Bay 1...
... I am looking at the pre-alert phone hanging on the wall with dread, knowing that the system is so stretched and vulnerable, it might take only 1 really sick patient for me to completely run out of space and resources ... 
Ok, I'm not a health expert, or a politician, just a low level, acute care grunt who look after sick people and the elderly.

The government and Hunt are quite right, spending on health is at record levels. Even accounting for inflation, growing needs etc, why are things this bad? With record trolley waits, ambulance queues, mental health crisis, surely something must be wrong?
Where is gone badly wrong is this:
