🚜But in case you need to know a little more, he is part of the third generation from his family who have resided in Montana & has shown that he will protect the state from interlopers. The top “issue” on his campaign website is “fighting for veterans.”

When I was called back to service in 2004 for the Iraq War, I was attached to a California reserve unit.
They were 99% Hispanic, and some weren’t citizens.
I was one of three white guys in that unit. But I never felt like that, since they treated me like family.

As much as our nation has scorned and shunned Hispanic immigrants, I would’ve understood if they treated me as an outsider.

And they were some of the finest Marines I’ve served with.

The Hispanic Marines I served with welcomed me into their unit.
Since then I’ve learned a few things. Hispanics have no problem assimilating into our society, or welcoming us into their homes.

My doctor, which whom I’ve been seeing steadily over the last five years, let’s me in on a little secret. He said the @DeptVetAffairs lacks money to hire more staff, Docs/nurses/clinicians/etc... to support the YUGE amount of #Veterans waiting for care.
Yesterday I created a thread in which my objective was to point out my horrible experience at the @DeptVetAffairs office when I returned back, for mid-tour leave, from combat operation in #Iraq. Mind you, this was Feb 2005.
I couldn't believe how I was treated! I was sobbing uncontrollably, shaking, & suicidal. I wanted to end it! No more pain! And then to top it off, we were escorted off of VA property because my brother was shouting at the VA staff as to why they weren't going to help me.
Although the point was well received by 99% of you, after reviewing the thread, I realized how selfish it was. I used "I" when I should've been using "WE". I was NEVER alone throughout my combat tours. Deployed troops bond, show esprit de corps, and latch onto one another.

1) It is time for a Revival of Entertainment, something we all know and love. Something that has been lost for a while. We see how well @Marvel is doing with it's @netflix shows, well @Hasbro is sitting on a gold mine with GI JOE. I have written a series that would bring it
2) Back!! We should be honoring our #Vets and Service men and women with shows that would make the youth proud of where they are from. I loved rooting for GI JOE, and the show was a sense of enjoyment, it brought about leadership, & everyone worked for a common goal to end evil
3) I propose a series to it's rebirth, live action. GI JOE can no longer be it's own military unit as we have the @USNavy , @USMC , @usairforce , @USArmy , @NationalGuard , @uscoastguard and reserves - so my show would start off with GI JOE ALPHA a new small group that is a
1/ When? At what point is it enough? Where is the line? How long do we wait? Are those currently in positions of leadership deaf, dumb & blind? What about those that were, but no longer are? Is everyone waiting for someone else to make the determination? #Resist #TheResistance
2/ If not everything that’s occurred since and including the entire 2016 election, up and down ballot, nation wide isn’t a crisis, what is? Is the American Govt involved with the very practices our Government was put in place to prevent? #Vote #FlipItBlue #BlueWave2018 #VoteBlue
3/ Did the President not take an Oath? If the President doesn’t honor his Oath do we not have a Congress to check him? If Congress does not check him but is corrupted and derelict of duty as well, who protects America? The American people can keep them in check with their vote.
Greater focus needed at #VA please. It’s not Fixed yet. Needs huge focus on PTSD which affects millions of veterans. Mental health is bigger than even the #OpioidCrisis Try this: Stop Making Veterans With #PTSD🇺🇸. How many countries are we bombing now? 7? 8?
Many #VietnamVets had ongoing #MentalHealth treatment for #PTSD. But when a huge influx of #IraqVets appeared with #PTSD the #VietnamVets #MentalHealthCounseling was DISCONTINUED! As if they were suddenly cured. Now #Vets with #PTSD cannot be accommodated. Too many!!!
