I think it’s worth pointing out: for decades, @realAlexJones has given a platform to whistleblowers & campaigners in many different fields: critics of globalisation, anti-war campaigners, ex Intel officers, anti-corruption investigators, ‘out-there’ thinkers (not just “wingnuts”)
He's even had me on a few times to talk about my #Bilderberg reports for the @Guardian. He’s railed, like an over-caffeinated Chomsky, against imperialism & crony capitalism, deconstructed government propaganda, & been a relentless critic of the big banks & the US-led war machine
Crucially, he’s done more to critique the greed of giant corporations & the ruthless military ambitions of the US than 99.9% of the people cooing over the #Infowars ban: people who I'm sure would feel that they're on the side of the angels, & look upon AJ with scorn & revulsion.
@ShawnTheAtheist Disagree because of the dominance of #socialmedia: The platforms that banned #InfoWars reach over 2 billion people & as such are not just "private companies". What we need fast is a Digital Bill of Rights to ensure a #FreeInternet & a free exchange of ideas on all platforms.

OK, a bunch of stuff has happened in the last few weeks, and I'm just back from vacation, so I'm going to do a little impromptu Trump/Russia round-up, just to keep everything straight in my own head.
1/ First, Alex Jones and #InfoWars. The guy admitted, in a court of law, that he was a performance artist who didn't believe any of the crap he was peddling. That was last year. Why are we only now realizing that he's a BS artist & con man? Better late than never, I guess.
2/ The MAGA pundipshits are now re-aligning themselves w/r/t #QAnon. Do they believe Q or not? This is like a crew of hateful Easter Bunnies voting on whether or not the Tooth Fairy is real.
