#brexit seems to be all about feeling over fact and this is especially true of the ReesMogg ERG faction of the Tory right.
I never bought the line that #brexit is about Democracy because most of the Tory right had zero enthusiasm for improving democracy in the UK few of them care about unelected house of lords the unfair FPTP electoral system or transparency on the contrary
Most of the Tory right are interested only in constitutional changes that suit them and if anything strive to be as little democratically accountable as possible.

#BrexitConcerns from the ONS about a worrying disparity in our trade statistics.

"in 2016, Britain recorded imports of services from seven countries of £68bn: but those countries registered total exports to the UK of £140bn"

Seems there is even more at stake than we realised.

Brexit is a bad decision.
I haven't a clue why the colours on that pic are inverted.
Here it is.
Just another huge reason to #LookB4WeLeave

@HowShouldWeVote @RoyMotteram @RemainLies_ @Fenmonkey @CanaryAndy @EmbersBrexit @trawlerhorse @JohnMcGlynn @DeborahMeaden This could take a while and I'm quite busy, but here goes
1. Donald Tusk, said, “Western political civilisation will be destroyed if the UK voted 'Leave'.” [Bild, 13 June 2016] I may be wrong but I think it is safe to say western political civilisation has not been destroyed.
@HowShouldWeVote @RoyMotteram @RemainLies_ @Fenmonkey @CanaryAndy @EmbersBrexit @trawlerhorse @JohnMcGlynn @DeborahMeaden 2.Punishment Budget. George Osborne [15 June 2016] predicted £30bn tax rises and IMMEDIATE spending cuts would be implemented. To date, no changes to the planned tax rates or public spending have been implemented.
@HowShouldWeVote @RoyMotteram @RemainLies_ @Fenmonkey @CanaryAndy @EmbersBrexit @trawlerhorse @JohnMcGlynn @DeborahMeaden 3.Brexit would cost every household £4,300. UK Treasury [18 April 2016] predicted that every household would lose between £2,600 and £5,200 a year following Brexit. Their (& IMF) latest prediction now confirms that even on WTO status the losses would be maybe a £100 or so

As a #leavernow I have undergone a radical process of DeEducation and thanks to the resultant intellectual brexpihany I now have depth ignorance of a true Brexpert accordingly I would like to take to task the scaremongering remoaners who continue to pedal #ProjectFear THREAD
The CBI claims the UK car industry could face extinction after #Brexit but the CBI are just the representative body of British industry who lobby on behalf of manufacturing industry I have never worked in manufacturing so know its just #ProjectFear independent.co.uk/news/business/…
The city of London is full of remoaners deeply unhappy at #Brexit city lobbying groups keep pretending their businesses will be hurt and good jobs will be lost but As a #leavernow I say it is #ProjectFear so it must be because I say so uk.businessinsider.com/city-of-london…

As a #leavernow I accept the will of the people which is set in stone and soon on headstones of leave voters and embrace the future everyone knew they were voting for
No one ever said #Brexit would be easy except Nigel farage Boris Johnson David Davis liam fox Jacob Rees Mogg Ian Duncan Smith Chris gargling Michael Gove and numerous other prominent brexists however I've not encountered one leave voter who ever listened to anything they said
The people who voted leave all knew that we would face the destruction of just in time manufacturing the loss of financial service jobs not to mention food and medical shortages and I will of course stoically bear it for #Brexit

Why does Twitter deliberately target Right-wing accounts for Shadow-banning and why it will sooner rather than later completely back-fire and why they are ultimately going to destroy the Left and what a great day that will be. Thread. 1/15
It is no surprise Twitter targets accounts for “wrong think” or as we on the #Right like to call it “free-think” this is because of two events which are now totally and utterly inextricably linked, #Brexit and #Trump and the Establishment have been rocked to the core. 2/15
Neither of which were supposed to happen & yet they did now the Establishment is determined never to allow it to happen again or even at all, the reason for them happening was nothing to do with social media, but was to do with people knocking on doors and persuading others. 3/15

Here are six of the most ridiculous claims from #ProjectFear about the impact of a clean #Brexit on businesses, prices and jobs. I’m paraphrasing to make my points, but all are staples of the #Remain camp. (1/8)
Myth 1. Businesses have become so reckless that they now rely on fragile just-in-time supply chains where even the slightest new friction would be catastrophic, and it would be impossible to adapt them without the massive disruption of relocating. (2/8)
Myth 2. Businesses selling only into the EU are so feeble that they would find it very difficult and costly to start filling in a simple customs return, even though they already manage to deal with all the other paperwork required. (3/8)

Two years on from #Brexit referendum vote, UK growth has slumped. Lowest of any G7 country. Lower than Eurozone. Likely to fall further (c. Airbus). But hey, no worries, it's all #ProjectFear say the #Brexiteers (graphic @WSJ)
Still, young Brits can always pick fruit - rather than look forward to careers in high-tech industries like Airbus. Well done #Brexiteers (but hey, no worries it's all #ProjectFear isn't it?)
Consumer spending slumped after Brexit Referendum #PeoplesVoteMarch 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (Well done #Brexiteers. But hey, no worries it's all #ProjectFear isn't it?)

When #ProjectFear becomes #ProjectFact... Has the penny started to drop?

This isn't just a remainer thing BTW. If I was a leaver and I read that tweet I'd be PRETTY worried and pissed off TBH
These are our so-called "betters" who are in charge. They were told. They were told THREE YEARS ago that this could happen. The sheer arrogance as they dismissed this with a flick of the hand as one might a fly: "#ProjectFear", they sneered

I've been doing a bit of number crunching to see what date, with no-one changing their minds, demographics will show that the British people voted to remain. That date is 27th January 2021. On that date, the UK voted #Remain. (1/3)
My workings are here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… My calcs are NOT perfect, but I feel they're a pretty good indicator. (2/3)
Of course, this all assumes that no-one has changed their minds, but as #ProjectFear turns into #ProjectReality it would be pretty mad to think no-one is changing their mind! (3/3)

The politicians and political commentators that YOU trust, have told you that all the bad news you hear about Brexit is just #ProjectFear.
Just imagine for a second that when Brexit actually happens, you find out they were wrong. How will history look at you? How will your kids?
Most people on both sides weren't experts in EU law.
Did you get your information directly from EU Treaties and resulting legislation, or did you trust the articles and opinions of others?
Remainers and Leavers just trusted different sources.
However, Brexit voters, if it actually happens and we start to see the full economic and international effects of Brexit, you're going to have to explain, especially to your kids, why you ignored the warnings from actual experts in the field before voting. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
